Behind the Scenes of the Fall Music Series in Fairview: Bands, Schedule, and More

by | Oct 7, 2024

The Fall Music Series is the perfect excuse to enjoy the changing seasons with friends and family and enjoy fantastic live music under the stars. Organized by Cafe Gecko Fairview, this vibrant event will fill the evenings with melodies at the Fairview Town Center – Stacy Road & US 75, known for its landscaped exteriors and a host of amenities, including Dillard’s, JCPenney, Macy’s, and iPic Theater. Every Saturday, from September 9th through October 21st, at 7:00 PM, The Park will come alive with bands playing a diverse range of genres – from Rockabilly to Blues.

With talent like Penny & The Flamethrowers, Ryan Glenn & Honkey Tonk Heat, and the Shelby Ballenger Band, attendees are in for a treat. The series will feature an array of music styles, including Reggae, Celtic Rock, and Country, providing something enjoyable for every music taste. It’s a fabulous opportunity for residents, potential home buyers, sellers, and business owners to immerse themselves in the community vibe, discover new music, or simply enjoy an evening out in the crisp fall air.

For those planning to attend, there are a few guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. The Music Series encourages visitors to support FTC businesses by abstaining from bringing food purchased outside, including fast food items. However, food and beverages from FTC outlets are welcome, provided they’re in disposable containers. While lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for comfortable seating, the event maintains a policy against tents or shade structures to keep the view unobstructed for all attendees.

Furthermore, for the enjoyment and safety of everyone, glass containers, frisbees, balls, and any toys that can be tossed are not allowed in The Park area during event hours. Alcoholic beverages can only be consumed if they’ve been purchased from Cafe Gecko, courtesy of its TABC license for the Park. Lastly, children must be closely supervised by an adult to ensure a family-friendly atmosphere for families attending. These simple yet important policies help maintain a vibrant, inclusive, and safe environment for all guests to enjoy the Fall Music Series to its fullest.
