Get Spooky: Fairview’s Halloween Fun With Outdoor ‘Wicked’ Movie

Get Spooky: Fairview’s Halloween Fun With Outdoor ‘Wicked’ Movie

by | Oct 13, 2025

Get ready for a frightfully good time as Fairview gears up for its annual “Halloween Spooktacular”! This year’s event promises a magical evening for the whole family, with the highlight being a special outdoor movie screening. Join us at The Park on October 25th at 5:00 pm for a FREE showing of the beloved musical fantasy, “Wicked.” It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with community spirit and spooky fun for all ages.

Beyond the movie, the “Halloween Spooktacular” is packed with engaging activities. Little goblins and ghouls can showcase their creativity in a thrilling costume contest, vying for the title of best “Witch” or “Wiz” with fantastic prizes up for grabs. To add to the excitement, the first 150 children, aged 3 to 12, to arrive will receive complimentary Halloween goodie bags, filled with treats and surprises to make their night even sweeter.

To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience at The Park, please take note of a few important details. The screening of “Wicked” is rated PG, and as with any movie, parents are encouraged to consider its appropriateness for their children. The film runs for approximately one hour and thirty-four minutes. To keep the event free and support our local businesses, we kindly request that outside food and beverages purchased from non-Fairview Town Center establishments not be brought into The Park. Please remember to bring your blankets and chairs for comfortable viewing, and let’s all work together to maintain a fun and respectful atmosphere.

The outdoor screening of “Wicked” is set to be a truly memorable experience, and attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their coziest blankets and comfortable lawn chairs to settle in for the show. We also want to give a shout-out to our wonderful Fairview Town Center eateries; why not grab a delicious takeout meal from one of them to enjoy during the movie? Supporting these local businesses helps keep amazing free events like this possible for our community.

Get those costumes ready for the “Witch” and “Wiz” costume contest! We’ll be awarding prizes to the most creative and spirited outfits in these categories. The awards ceremony will take place immediately after the movie concludes, so stick around to see if you or someone you know takes home a prize!

The free goodie bags are a special treat for our younger attendees, specifically for children aged 3 to 12. With a limited quantity of 150 bags available, we recommend arriving early to secure one for your little ones. This encourages an early arrival and ensures that as many eligible children as possible can receive a festive treat as part of the “Halloween Spooktacular.”

Adherence to the venue’s policies is crucial for the success and continuation of these community events. Specifically, we ask for your cooperation regarding outside food and beverages to support our local Fairview Town Center businesses. All food and drinks from FTC establishments must be in disposable containers. While non-alcoholic beverages from home are permitted in soft coolers, and reusable bottles are encouraged, please keep all glass items out of The Park.

We are thrilled to invite everyone to come out for a fun, safe, and spirited Halloween celebration here in Fairview. The “Halloween Spooktacular” is designed with families in mind, offering a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors and create lasting memories. Let’s make this a spooktacularly good time for all!
