Join the Festivities: FTC’s 4th of July Bike Parade and Community Celebration

by | Jul 2, 2025

Fairview residents and visitors are invited to join the annual FTC July 4th Bike Parade and Community Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025. This beloved neighborhood tradition will take place from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at The Fountain area of Fairview Town Center, located at the intersection of Stacy Road and US 75. The festivities promise a morning of patriotic fun, community spirit, and family-friendly activities that have become a hallmark of Independence Day celebrations in the area.

Celebrate Independence Day at Fairview Town Center

The highlight of the event is the colorful bike parade, where participants of all ages are encouraged to decorate their bikes, scooters, strollers, or wagons in patriotic themes. Creative community members will have a chance to win special recognition, with prizes awarded for the best decorated parade vehicle and the most patriotic outfit. The parade offers a wonderful opportunity for families to express their creativity while celebrating America’s independence in a local way.

A Parade of Patriotic Creativity

The morning’s celebrations will begin precisely at 9:00 am with a traditional ceremony featuring the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a rendition of the National Anthem. This moment will set the tone for the parade, which will wind its way around the center building at Fairview Town Center. Participants are asked to arrive early to ensure they’re ready for the prompt start of this patriotic procession that brings neighbors together in celebration of our nation’s founding.

After completing the parade route, families can transition seamlessly into the second part of the celebration, featuring a variety of free activities that will continue until 11:00 am. This portion of the event allows the community to mingle and enjoy the holiday spirit together, creating lasting memories for Fairview residents of all ages. The organizers have arranged for an ideal blend of traditional patriotic elements with fun, family-oriented activities.

Family Fun Continues After the Parade

Following the parade, attendees can enjoy an impressive array of complimentary activities spread throughout the Fountain area. Children will delight in the professional face-painting station and balloon-twisting artists, who will create custom designs. Special guests Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty will be available for photos and interactions, adding a patriotic touch to the festivities.

The Fairview Fire Department plans to display a firetruck (barring emergency calls) where children can meet local firefighters and learn about fire safety. A bounce house will provide additional entertainment for energetic young participants.

Free Treats & Giveaways

The celebration includes special giveaways for early arrivals, with free goodie bags available for the first 150 children aged 12 and under. Additionally, these early attendees will receive a complimentary sweet treat to enjoy during the festivities. Throughout the event, prizes will be awarded to recognize participants who embrace the patriotic spirit of the day. Event organizers emphasize that this is a FREE community celebration, designed to kick off Independence Day festivities before families disperse for their individual holiday plans.

Community participation is a key element of making the celebration a success. The organizers are actively seeking local scout troops interested in carrying the colors to lead the parade, providing a meaningful opportunity for young people to serve their community. Additionally, talented young singers are invited to perform the National Anthem as part of the opening ceremony. These roles provide local youth with an opportunity to showcase their talents and contribute to this cherished community tradition.

Interested participants for these special roles are encouraged to reach out via email to fairviewtowncentermktg@outlook.com for more information about how to get involved. The organizers welcome inquiries from all community members who wish to contribute to making this year’s celebration especially memorable. This approach reflects the event’s underlying purpose: bringing together residents from across Fairview and surrounding communities to celebrate our nation’s independence and the strong community bonds that make our neighborhood special.
